School District Mission
In the summer of 2002, the school board was involved in the process of evaluating and refining the overall school vision, which is “We will serve as a lighthouse for public education in our community.” This means the district will strive to the best of its abilities to provide leadership to: 1) inspire high student achievement, 2) nurture responsible citizenship, 3) create lifelong learners, and 4) ensure no child gets lost. The board and superintendent have joined with all staff, teachers, parents and students to provide exceptional learning opportunities and support for our most valuable asset: our children.
